A Family for Your Whole Family!
In 1981, Scottsville Road was born in a rented facility in Bowling Green, Kentucky. In 1985, the church moved to its present campus at 6330 Scottsville Road. In the last few years, our family has grown to include people from many different locations and family backgrounds, but one common thread holds our membership together…
…a belief in Jesus Christ the perfect Son of God and Savior of the world, according to a perfect Bible. Our identity as a church is shaped by the unchanging truth of the Bible. Our ultimate goal is to honor Christ by helping people to know Him and to make Him known.
We believe that the nature of a church should be determined by the Bible. Therefore, we are a local, autonomous fellowship of baptized believers. We are affiliated with the Baptist Missionary Association of America and support their ministries and missions across the globe. We are also affiliated with the Warren Association of Baptist, a local association of the Southern Baptist Convention.
We could be described in several ways:
· A Bible-Believing Church We believe that the Bible is the only completely inerrant guide for belief and daily living.
· A Family-Friendly Church We seek to offer ministries that touch the lives of every member of the family, from babies to seniors.
· A Missions-Minded Church Our greatest prayer is that the world may be reached with the good news of Jesus Christ.
Our Church Vision
It is our desire to simply become better disciples of Christ each and every day. It is our vision to become the best servants of God to our community and our world. We realize that we will reach this when we practice seeing the world around us the way God does.
